Contributions
Etose allows its clients to interact directly with the people at its destinations, with the objective of improving their well-being through: community development support; biodiversity initiatives; conservation; environmental, socio-cultural and economic improvements; employment creation; educational and professional training assistance; and so on.
Travelers with Etose can, if they wish:
- Contribute “on the spot” (for e.g. help buy the paint and paint a school, pay for school fees, help repair a leaking roof, pay for fertilizer, buy products or crafts, help clean up the village, etc.);
- Donate to high-quality, high-impact projects, with assistance from local partners;
- “Adopt a village” (support garbage collection, power generation, clean toilets, etc.);
- Provide education, training, marketing or project management skills;
- Become a banker via the micro-credit bank (MCB) program;
- Help market a product upon returning home (art, craft, produce);
- Support a knowledge center;
- Part-own a business (social enterprise);
- Volunteer on the spot or at a future date; or
- Continue supporting a cause on their return home.
Some of these approaches of giving directly enables more funding to reach the projects, delivers a more transparent and engaging way to give, and enables a donor to see where the money has gone.
